3 hours of ear-splitting Rock-n-Roll!! Oh yeah. Great show at the Dame with a couple of my favorite local bands to see. Saw the Yellowbelts for the 1st time. I liked their sound, but they didn't have the same energy as the other guys. Sorry, didn't get any pics.
As usual Sunday Valley & Heart Throb delivered the goods. Lot's of energy. Too bad the crowd was a bit small. But that didn't seem to slow these boys down.
***OK, more pics to be added later. Fotopages takes so freakin' long to upload I ran out of time. Oh yeah, guess I shouldn't whine too much, since it is free!!!! Oh well......*****

Rock and Roll Huchi Guru
My neighbor Shea suggested I check out these guys, Huchi Guru. Hippie, bluesy, rootsy with lots of energy. Yeah. Brian, Debi & I went to check them out. Lot's of fun. Lead singer had all the rock and roll moves down!
Then after the show I hooked up with my friend Rachel, and a crew from Common Grounds for the Midnight Movie, Creature from the Black Lagoon in 3-D. Oh yeah! What a crappy piece of film. But what fun. Great to get you into that Christmas spirit, huh?

Plan A - Our First Show!
Played our first show at High on Rose. We were set to open for another local band, The Way Outs. But due to a last minute change we ended up playing after them. Had a blast. Pretty good crowd. Hopin' for some more soon.

Homies: Open your mind and leave the hate behind

I've taken a large number of pictures over the last couple of weeks & I got behind putting them up here. So I think I'm just about caught up now. I think I got them all up on the dates I took them. So look back & you might find some new stuff.
I also came across a bunch of single shots that I've taken, but never put up. So here they are.
Let me 'splain the homies. While working in Georgetown these last couple of months, we indulged in what became a regular ritual. Eat out, then head over the the Chinese Buffet - not to eat, but to buy homies from their gumball machine. Yeah, the collection has grown. Here's a picture of some of my homies. Pretty sad for a bunch of adults, but, oh well. Oh check out all the homies at http://www.homies.tv/indexflash.html

Saw these guys at a concert at local shop, CD Central. I'm really digging their sound. Sugary, folk, poppy, but not too sweet or too happy. A little melancholy in there, too. I have to say that Andrew (lead singer) has found a great style for his voice. It's nice to hear singers who are very much at home in what they are doing. Backed up by Robbie on Guitar (and occasional drums) and Sarah on bass (and toy xylophone). Great stuff.

More Fountain Pictures!
My boss sent me downtown to take some pictures for our website. I started out at the courthouses. Then I went down to Thoroughbred Park. I drive by this park everyday, but this was the 1st time I have ever stopped to check it out. There's more here than what I had realized.
